X1 Developments are set to be given the go ahead by Manchester city planners for a new £32 million residential project in Salford.
Having already secured permission for a group of 26-storey apartment blocks at MediaCityUK last year, the developers are set to capitalise further on the city’s housing boom by building this new luxury development on the border of Salford.
Situated on the corner of Oldfield Road, across from Spinningfields, the 14-storey building will feature 191 apartments in total, and will include a gym, secure car parking and a courtyard garden for the residents.
The ground floor of the project, nicknamed ‘The Landmark’, will allow space for shops, in a bid to boost the economy in the area.
This project sits alongside other Manchester projects in the developer’s portfolio, as works are already underway on their ‘X1 The Campus’ and ‘X1 The Gateway’ city projects.
